Official information: There are plenty of open sky Smoking Terrace areas in our airport. They are available to the domestic and international passengers at Departures in the airside, after the second security checkpoint.

In the new terminal there are two courtyard smoking areas in departures after security, one opposite Macdonalds and one further on. There is also a courtyard smoking area in the CIP Executive lounge on the 1st floor. Update from Jennifer M. during Nov 2018.

Dalaman Airport Turkey has changed to the following as per there official FAQ on website: You will be able to smoke in our specially designed terrace areas with our new terminal building on 28.04.2018. Until this time, you can smoke in mini cafe which is located next to passenger entrance doors in our existing building. Feedback from Dave B. on the 5th March 3018.

There was a smoking room near gate 24 inside the terminal, this is now closed, hopefully not permanently. Feedback from Paul S. on the 30th July 2017.

For connecting flights you must enter Turkey and smoke outside the terminal then go through Security again for your flight.
