Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the terminals.

After Security Smoking

2024, November update from Ryan: An update on Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport (IATA: YTY, ICAO: ZSYA) smoking is freely available outside of the airport. As with all Chinese airports lighters and matches are banned once entering the airport. After we security there is a smoking area available, at next to gate 8, clearly signposted.

However, there is no seating provided, and the electronic lighting system available is unsuitable for pipes and cigars.
