Vaping Ban

It's illegal to import or use e-cigarettes or vape products in Oman. 

Oman enforces a full ban on the trade and circulation of e-cigarettes, electronic hookahs, and all related accessories under Ministerial Decision No. 756/2023, issued by the Consumer Protection Authority.

Punishment

The law explicitly prohibits selling, distributing, or trading these products, and violations carry strict administrative penalties: fines of up to OMR 1,000 for a first offense, doubling for repeat violations, and an additional OMR 50 per day for continued non compliance, capped at OMR 2,000. Confiscated products are destroyed according to official procedures, and the ban took effect immediately after publication in the Official Gazette.
