2025, April update from Glenn B.: After Security: Terminal 2A After immigration: walk past duty free Take escalators on the right to 3rd floor (food court). Entrance is on the left side. Open air smoking area. With bar and toilet. Perfect alternative to “lounges” solely for smokers like us. I’m suggesting to elevate the rating of this to 10 cigarettes.

Feeback from Levey, April 2024: Terminals 2A & 2B lead to the same shopping area and food courts. Aside from the long establised Smoking Terrace upstairs by the food court, there is a new one ny gate A17, next to Cafe Frei.

The Terrace Café is located on the roof of Terminal 2A, it is open aired so can be used for smoking.

The Terrace Café is located on the roof of Terminal 2A. visitors can marvel at the hustle and bustle of the airport whilst sipping a glass of wine or beer, a cocktail or a coffee, from comfortable chairs on “The Terrace”. Since the terrace is partly open-air, it can also be used by smokers.

Terminal 2B

Update from Christine, Sept 2022: Between B8 and B9 are Lounges on the third floor. Go there, some steps up and there is a separate entry to a terrace. Perfect Smoking Area, Rooftop, fresh air.

Update from Péter S., October 2021: A new outdoor smoking area has been opened at the 2B (for LCC flights) before boarding after security.
