Before Security Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the terminals.

After Security Smoking

Information provided by Ruan, Nov 2023: New temporary airport while main Airport is under construction.   No Smoking areas inside. Need to smoke outside terminal before entering.

For connecting flights you may need to leave the terminal and enter Saudi Arabia and smoke outside the terminal then going through Security again for your flight.
