Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the terminals.

After Security Smoking

Update from Jonny S, Jan 2022: Lanzarote airport smoking area next to Gate 12 is open. It's spacious with views over the mountains, the runway and the sea.

Update from Carsten, Oct 2021: Smoking terasse at Gate 12 is open again.

Update from Dietmar, July 2021: The first one behind the food garden is in the moment closed. The second one is behind Burger King and still open.

Update from Manfred, Feb 2020: Pictured below is one of the two outdoor smoking areas at ACE Lanzarote Airport after security. I‘m just enjoying a cigarette there. The areas are on the eastern side of the Airport, close to gates 1 and 2.

Here is a large outside terrace where you can sit down and smoke cigarettes. Around gates 1-2 . Photos Below. Update from Daniel M. on the 31st December 2017.

There is two smoking terraces after security, one overlooking a runway and the other the carpark.
