Smoking at Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW)

Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) is the largest and busiest airport in Poland, serving as a major hub for LOT Polish Airlines. Located in the Włochy district of Warsaw, approximately 10 kilometers southwest of the city center, it handles nearly 40% of the country's air passenger traffic. Originally known as Warsaw-Okęcie Airport, it was renamed in 2001 to honor the famous Polish composer Frédéric Chopin. The airport features a single passenger terminal, Terminal A, which combines the former Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. With modernized facilities, WAW accommodates millions of passengers annually, offering connections to major international destinations such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam.
