Before and After Security Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the terminals.

Schengen Zone

Update from Tom T. on the 8th May 2019: As Estonia is part of the Schengen zone, most flights (to EU) depart from the main terminal area (no passport control), smoking areas described correctly.

Non-Schengen Zone

Update from Tom T. on the 8th May 2019: The flights to non-Schengen countries (Russia, Turkey, etc) depart from the separate section in the far end of the building. You need to go through passport control to get there, so you can't return to the main area after. But do not worry: there is a separate smoking room also in the non-Schengen area, after passport control.

In order to smoke before check-in/security, you need to go outside of the terminal; but post security there are at least 3 smoking areas available (every 10 gates, there is a smoke room).
