Before Security Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the terminals.

After Security Smoking

Domestic Departures

Update from Sebastian, Dec 2023: there is a smoking area inside domestic terminal..maybe also in international terminal. close to gate 108.

Medina airport smoking

International Departures

There does not seem to be a smoking area in the International Departures area. Feedback would be appreciated.

For connecting flights you must enter Saudi Arabia and smoke outside terminal then go through Security again for your flight.

The smoking law is not heavily enforced and the laws are ofter broken by the locals.

Many of the airports tend to have secret smoking areas.
